Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms & Service Description
CyberLife is a cyberpunk-themed subscription tracking tool that helps you record and manage costs, renewal dates, and reminders for various subscription services.
Free Tier (forever free)
Provides core subscription tracking, including unlimited subscription management (add / edit / delete, preset templates, filter and search), local push notifications, system calendar sync, basic cost statistics, and iCloud sync (iOS only).
Pro Membership (paid subscription — see "Pro Subscription Terms")
Provides advanced features including cross-platform cloud sync, additional reminder channels (email / SMS / phone), all widget sizes, custom themes and icons, and annual spending reports.
Specific feature lists are shown in-app. We continuously iterate; for material changes we will notify you via in-app notification.
Privacy
Our handling of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Acceptance
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the service.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
2. Pro Subscription Terms
Pro membership is offered as in-app purchases via the App Store, with three options:
- Monthly: auto-renewable monthly subscription
- Yearly: auto-renewable yearly subscription (7-day free trial on first subscription; cancel anytime during the trial without charge)
- Lifetime: one-time payment, permanent access, no auto-renewal
Actual prices are shown in-app at the time of purchase and may vary by App Store region.
Auto-Renewable Subscription Terms
- Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription by going to your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS) after purchase.
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
- Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
No refunds are provided for unused portions of paid subscription periods, except as required by Apple's policy or applicable consumer protection law.
3. User Conduct
The subscription data you enter into CyberLife belongs to you. While using the service, you agree to:
- Not upload content that violates applicable laws (including illegal, obscene, or content that infringes third-party rights)
- Not use unauthorized plugins, scripts, or third-party tools to interfere with, disrupt, or modify the service
- Not maliciously call APIs, bypass paywalls, attack our servers, or interfere with other users' access via technical means
- Not exploit promo code bugs, refund loopholes, or other means to fraudulently obtain Pro benefits
- Not maliciously create accounts in bulk
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Do not lend, sell, or share your account with others. Losses arising from compromised credentials are your responsibility; please contact support@sixpawcat.com immediately to freeze the account if suspicious activity is detected.
We reserve the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban accounts that violate these rules, and to cooperate with lawful requests from competent authorities.
4. Intellectual Property, Third-Party Services & Apple-Specific Terms
Intellectual Property
All content of CyberLife (including but not limited to source code, UI design, visual assets, brand identity, documentation, and subscription template data) is owned by Hangzhou Six Paw Cat Technology Co., Ltd. and protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You agree:
- Not to modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the application
- Not to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to extract source code
- Not to remove, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, trademarks, or proprietary marks
- Not to use the application or its content for unauthorized commercial purposes
Third-Party Services
CyberLife integrates with third-party services such as Apple StoreKit, Apple iCloud / CloudKit, Sign in with Apple, and email service providers (see Privacy Policy for details). Each third-party service is subject to its own terms; we do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, performance, or policies. Issues with third-party services should be addressed directly with the respective provider.
Apple-Specific Terms
If you obtained CyberLife from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge:
- These Terms are between you and us, not Apple. We are solely responsible for the application and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support services for the application.
- In the event of any failure to conform to applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligations.
- Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the application or its use, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property infringement claims.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
Export Compliance
You represent and warrant that (i) you are not located in any country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (ii) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. You agree to comply with all applicable U.S. and foreign export control and trade sanctions laws when using the service.
5. Disclaimer, Liability & Indemnification
CyberLife is a tracking and reminder tool only. We do not handle the actual billing, cancellation, or dispute resolution of the subscription services themselves — these are governed by the original service providers (Apple, third-party app vendors, etc.).
No Warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to:
- The service will meet your specific needs
- The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Any information obtained through the service (e.g., exchange rates) is accurate, reliable, or complete
- Any defects in the service will be corrected
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
- Data loss or missed reminders caused by network outages, device failures, or unavailability of third-party services (Apple, AWS, email/SMS providers)
- Data loss caused by your own device failure, operator error, or password compromise
- Decisions made based on exchange-rate data, which is provided for reference only and is not financial or investment advice
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability, shall not exceed the greater of (i) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or (ii) the total fees you have actually paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.
In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CyberLife and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; (b) your infringement of third-party rights; or (c) misuse of the service.
6. Termination, Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Termination
You may terminate your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service at our discretion, including for: (i) violation of these Terms; (ii) suspected fraud or abuse; (iii) legal compliance requirements; or (iv) twelve (12) months or more of continuous account inactivity.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution — shall survive.
Governing Law
Your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country or region of residence (including the EU Consumer Rights Directive, UK Consumer Rights Act, U.S. state consumer protection laws, or similar laws in your jurisdiction) apply regardless of these Terms and cannot be waived by agreement.
For matters not covered by such mandatory consumer protection laws, these Terms shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan), without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties.
Consumers residing outside of mainland China may bring claims in the courts of their country or region of residence under applicable consumer protection laws. For other disputes, the parties may submit to courts of competent jurisdiction in Hangzhou, China.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, pandemic, government actions, network or infrastructure failures, or third-party service outages.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service and supersede any prior or contemporaneous agreements or understandings.
Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights or obligations hereunder without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or other corporate transaction, or to any affiliate or successor.
Non-Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it in the future. No waiver shall be effective unless made in writing and signed by us.
Language
These Terms are written in English. In the event of any conflict between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall control.
7. Changes to These Terms & Contact
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time (e.g., due to feature changes, regulatory updates, or compliance requirements). The "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms reflects the most recent revision.
For material changes that affect your rights, we will notify you via in-app notification, email, or other reasonable means before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
